Hotel Kaštel offers accommodation in 32 rooms (standard, superior i deluxe), 2 hotel apartments and 1 separate apartment house which is 20 m away from the hotel. All rooms are equipped with televisions and satellite receiver, telephone, internet connection, bathroom and central-heating. A look through the window reveals the beauty of the picturesque landscape of the surrounding Motovun area.

Motovun, a small town in the interior of beautiful Istria, has for centuries attracted people from the whole world with its charm. This stone sage, a town that keeps vigil over the valley of the River Mirna, silently witnessing change and tranquilly calling to some long lost dreams and inviting travellers to discover the history to be found within its old medieval walls.

Hotel Kaštel*** is located atop a 277 metre high hill upon which arose the medieval town of Motovun . On the highest Motovun square, surrounded by medieval walls and preserved structures of the Venetian era, one comes to the ancient town gates and the structure of the Hotel Kaštel, located in a palace from the 17th century, on the right side of the square.

Left of the hotel is the parish church of Saint Stephan with its prominent indented bell tower, across from which is the town palace. The hotel structure which is one of the tallest buildings on the town square is an identifiable part of the overall vista of the ancient town. Every stone here tells a story that is at least 700 years old.
